Leiping Bao is a Professor of Social Policy and Child Development at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) in Shanghai, China. With a Doctor of Philosophy degree, Dr. Bao specializes in research related to children, women, and family issues and policies. Her notable publications include titles such as “Only Children Myth,” “Deep Modernization: Youth’s Conflict and Value Identity,” and “Family Stress in a Transforming Society,” showcasing her contributions to the field.

In addition to her academic role, Dr. Bao serves as the Vice Chairwoman of the Shanghai Association of Family and Marriage Studies and directs the Gender Studies Research Center at SASS. Her work reflects a deep commitment to understanding and addressing social challenges related to family dynamics and gender issues.

As an expert in open innovation and open business models, Darwin advises top executives from multinational corporations and government leaders in emerging markets, including Europe, China, Russia, India, and Latin America.
