Ieva Silina is a prominent figure in the fields of education and science policy in Latvia, serving as a freelance adviser to the President through the Chancellery of the President. In this role, she provides strategic insights and guidance on various education and science policy issues, contributing to the development of effective national strategies.

Ieva is also the chairman of the board for the Association of Young Scientists of Latvia, where she advocates for the interests of emerging researchers and promotes initiatives that support young scientists in their professional development. Additionally, she holds the position of project manager for the National Association “Visu Latvijai” – “Motherland and Freedom/LNNK,” where she oversees projects aimed at fostering national identity and civic engagement.

As an expert at the Institute of Solid State Physics of the University of Latvia, Ieva brings her analytical skills and expertise to the forefront of scientific research. She also serves as an adviser for SIA “Optilas Baltics,” where she leverages her knowledge to support the company’s strategic objectives.

Ieva earned her Master of Social Sciences degree in Management from the University of Latvia in 2007, equipping her with a strong foundation in organizational and strategic management. Her diverse roles and extensive experience reflect her commitment to advancing education, science, and community engagement in Latvia.
