Dr. Nina Linde is the Director of the Institute of Economics at the Latvian Academy of Sciences in Riga, Latvia. A dynamic and accomplished young professional, she successfully balances her scientific career with business pursuits, demonstrating a practical and organized mindset in all aspects of her work. Known for her ability to engage in meaningful conversations, listen attentively, recognize future opportunities, and analyze societal trends, Dr. Linde is highly regarded for her analytical skills and insight.
Dr. Linde’s educational journey began at the Faculty of Chemical Technology at Riga Technical University. She later obtained qualifications as a German language teacher, earned a Master’s degree, and completed her doctoral thesis at the University of Latvia. In addition, she received commercial training in Riga and qualified as a psychologist at St. Petersburg State University. Dr. Linde has also served as an Advisor to the Minister for Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia.
With over 50 research articles and books to her credit, Dr. Linde is considered one of Europe’s most esteemed economists. Her extensive academic contributions, combined with her business acumen, make her a prominent figure in both the scientific and economic communities.
